One of the main reasons why I decided to branch out and create a Facebook group for Busy Hands Quilts is because I love getting the opportunity to interact with you all and seeing your creativity flourish with my patterns.  I feel like a real community is blossoming in this group and I am ever so grateful for all of you who are helping make that happen!

Seeing all of the talent that you all possess shouldn't go unnoticed.  So I want to show some of the finished quilts people have shared in the Facebook group.  I hope seeing the work of others inspire more people to create quilts in my patterns and encourages you to take a look at the Busy Hands Quilts Facebook Group to see other eye-catching quilts by customers!

Finished Quilt by Brenda

This colorful masterpiece was made by Brenda Scinto in the Around the World quilt pattern for a family member.  This was done in all Moda grunge colors to match their floor rug.  Brenda also took the time to create matching pillow shams.  What a brilliant idea!

Around the World quilt pattern is entirely strip pieced and available in 4 sizes - Baby, Lap, Throw, and Queen.  This design is a great way to use up your stash!  Just choose 10 coordinating fabrics and a splash of bold contrast.

The Around the World quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.

Finished Quilt by Dallas

This darling finished quilt was made by Dallas Debell in the Make It Scrappy quilt pattern.  Dallas mentioned that her friend worked her longarm magic, which she says helps make her quilts look great.  I couldn't agree with you more Dallas! You and your friend both did a stunning job and I love your choice in colors!  Backing is flannel.  She also added an extra edge by binding with the black and white dot fabric.

Make It Scrappy is a charm square or layer cake friendly quilt pattern.  The pattern is available in 6 sizes - Baby, Lap, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  This design is not only stunning, it's also quick and easy to make!  So grab your favorite precuts or simply cut the number of squares in the size indicated in the pattern, add in a dashing sashing fabric and a boarder and voila!  You're all set!

The Make It Scrappy quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.

If you thought the first quilt by Dallas was something, take a look at her other finished quilt using the Oh Happy Day quilt pattern.  Made mostly from scraps, Dallas did an exceptional job with showing what having scraps set aside can really do!  I love the use of floral scraps.  They give this quilt a spring-time feel, which I am obsessed about!

Oh Happy Day is a gorgeous multi-sized quick and easy fat quarter quilt pattern.  You will love the large pieces that go together quickly and make such a darling design.  Includes 6 sizes - Baby, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.

For a truly scrappy quilt pattern, use a wide variety of colors and prints for your fat quarters.  If you're wanting a more organized quilt, use coordinating colors and prints.

The Oh Happy Day quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.
